Help create film and TV production tax incentives and a film office for our state!

It's time to take Action! Wisconsin

Wisconsin is one of THIRTEEN states that does not offer production incentives and one of FOUR that does not have a film office.

Urge your state legislators to support bipartisan bills that will establish a film office and tax incentives for film and television production in Wisconsin!

Action! Wisconsin is a statewide coalition of filmmakers, crew members, craftspeople and technicians, city governments, hotels, restaurants and caterers, small business owners, educators and others working to create and retain jobs, boost local economies and promote tourism statewide through film and television production.

We’re falling behind other states and leaving money on the table

We need to work to get more Film and Television projects produced here. Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Minnesota are investing in their states’ film, TV and advertising industries and are attracting significant outside investment by offering meaningful state production incentives.

ECONOMIC GROWTH

Tired of watching talent and cash hightail it out of our state? Shout ‘action’ on incentives and give a solid boost to Wisconsin’s economy.

JOBS

Lights, camera, job creation! More film production here bolsters businesses and creates job opportunities across all industries in WI. Let’s get growing!

TOURISM

Ocean-like beaches, rolling farms, haunted woods, urban grit– all your ideal locations within a 30-minute drive. We’ll throw in 4 seasons for no extra charge!
